The earth is on the verge of destruction. Green is vanishing at a rapid speed. Lands are parched of life. Yes, it is time we did something about it.

And so model-cum-actor Milind Soman decided to put on his shoes and run...run for the environment for 24 hours! For NDTV's Greenathon, his journey began at the Yashraj Studios in Andheri on the 7th of February, 2009, at 8 pm, and through the vaery many roads of Mumbai, the run was on till he finished it on the 8th of February, 2009 at 7 pm.

Many joined him on his way, in his purpose, in his cause...and thus Green begins to have a new meaning.

We sincerely hope this journey toward a Green cause continues...
