Greenathon at a glimpse

Go Green

The NDTV-TOYOTA Greenathon began with this pledge. A promise that we vowed to keep. And what a response there has been so far! It's been ecstatic, fantastic, staggering and moving...in our humble efforts to save the environment, YOU were always there and we take this opportunity to say, 'A Big Thank You'!

However, in our journey toward a Greener tomorrow, this is just the beginning...toward a Greener, cleaner future!

Come, let's continue doing our bit for the environment, for only then will these 24 hours bear the meaning it aimed to have. Write to us about how we can take this purpose further. Did we miss out on something? Can we do something better? Write in and continue to be a part of this endeavour!

The Green Anthem

Hawayein, patte, pani, per, jungle, sabz sona hain...
Hawayein, patte, pani, per, jungle, sabz sona hain..
Agar tum ho to itna hi zaroori inka hona hai

Hawayein maili mat karna ki jab tum saans loge
Ye dum wapas nahin ayega jab tum khaans loge

Hawayein maili mat karna ki jab tum saans loge
Ye dum wapas nahin ayega jab tum khaans loge

Ugaao zindagi aur yaad rakho dil ko bona hai
Hawayein, patte, pani, per, jungle, sabz sona hain

Per ugaao, chanon hawayein, saaf karo
Apni zameen se itna to insaaf karo

Per ugaao, chanon hawayein, saaf karo
Apni zameen se itna to insaaf karo

Ugaao zindagi aur yaad rakho dil ko bona hai
Hawaayein, patte, pani, per, jungle, sabz sona hain

Ugaao zindagi aur yaad rakho dil ko bona hai
Hawaayein, patte, pani, per, jungle, sabz sona hain
